Nasone Series

A seating series created during my senior year in the BFA Industrial Design program at the University of Illinois.

This collection embodies an exploration of form, function, and connection through everyday objects -- observing them within the context of daily life. Inspired by seating habits observed around the world, this project pursued a deeper understanding of seating beyond mere comfort or conventional use cases. It became a journey to uncover the essence of a designed object with minimal intervention — seeking meaning through simplicity. Emphasizing ambiguity and versatility, the work invites movement, conversation, and interaction between seating and people.

Modeled in Solidworks and Illustrator, assembled by hand.

Plywood + leather.
